Funeral Services for Raymond G. Fairbanks will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.  Family and friends may call 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 17th at the funeral home.

Raymond was born June 13, 1928 in Willoughby to Gilbert R. and Irene (Snyder) Fairbanks.  He passed away May 9, 2018 in Madison.

Raymond was a truck driver for R. W. Sidley for 42 years, retiring in 1992.  He was an "all around fix-it man".  He liked horses, farming and enjoyed working in his yard.

He is survived by his children Raymond (Roberta) Fairbanks, Gary (Hannah) Fairbanks, Pam (Edward) Evangelista, David Fairbanks, James "Skip" Fairbanks, and Debra Martin; grandchildren, Greg, Ben Alicia and Nicholas Fairbanks, Chad, Matt, Shawn, Adam and Joshua Evan, James (Autumn) and Christopher Fairbanks, Melissa (Matt) Cogan, Joshua and Jamie Fairbanks, Michael Garry, Jennifer Merchak, Bryan Fairbanks; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Faith H. Fairbanks in 2009; parents; brothers, Ervie L. Fairbanks and Charles "Pie" Fairbanks; sister, Helen Louise "Pat" Everson; and great grandson Bryten Cole Fairbanks
