Raymond J. Powers, DDS

Raymond J. Powers, age 91, passed away Sept 20, 2016.  He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Toman Powers, parents Edward J. and Elizabeth (McCarthy), brothers Joseph C. and Francis E. Powers.  He is survived by step-children Marie Toman Bruckner and Charles F. Toman, and numerous nieces and nephews.Dr. Powers attended John Carroll University and graduated from CWRU School of Dental Medicine.  His military service in the US Navy included both World War II and the Korean War.  The latter was as Senior Dental Officer aboard the USS Missouri BB63. A Memorial Mass was celebrated  at Sacred Heart Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, Oregon, Ohio.  Private interment services at St. Mary  Cemetery, Painesville, Ohio.
