Richard Edward Brewer, age 79, passed away December 24, 2020 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born February 26, 1941 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Fred and Lucy (Webster) Brewer.

Richard served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971.  He worked as a machine adjuster for General Electric at Nela Park for over 30 years.  He enjoyed woodworking, going to car shows and admiring vintage cars.

Richard is survived by his wife, Virginia (Fisher) Brewer, whom he married December 19, 1964; sons, Mike (Jill) Brewer and Rich (Kelly) Brewer; grandchildren, Justin, Evan, Skye and Alyia; brother, John (Janice) Brewer; sister, Marcine Stefancin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willy Brewer; sister Marlene Hartman.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30th at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mentor Municipal Cemetery.
