Richard Almon Glenn, age 89, of Perry, OH. On October 2, 2022, Dick went to be with the Lord. He was born January 21, 1933, in Painesville, OH to Edison and Bernice Glenn.
He graduated from Harvey High School, Class of 1951. Dick served in the U. S. Army in Germany for two years and worked at Lubrizol for many many years. Richard was a life member of First Church of Christ, Painesville.
Dick enjoyed long distance cycling, spelunking, Ham Radio Club, photography, computer games and any competitive activities. He was known for his warm smile.
The family would like to thank our family and friends for their love, care, and support.
Richard is survived by his wife, Valerie (McKeowan) Glenn; sister-in-law, Wanda Glenn of Pensacola, FL. ; nephew, Jeff (Amy) Glenn and niece, Terry Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Phyllis Bernhardt Glenn, and brother, Forrest Glenn
Family and friends will be received 12 noon until 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue Painesville, followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held 11:00 am Monday October 10, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, ( Meet at the cemetery ).
