Funeral Services for Richard David Hersman, age 41, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Richard was born on November 3, 1974 to Richard D. and Terry (Fleming) Hersman and passed away July 21, 2016 at his residence in Olmsted Falls.

Richard attended Perry High School and worked in Cleveland for the A. Brite Plating Company as a progress engineer for 20 years.  He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and riding his motorcycle.  He loved his home and enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his mother, Terry (Martin) Smith of Painesville Township, and brother, Jayson Hersman of Painesville, Uncle Thomas (Rita) Fleming of Fairport Harbor, and niece and nephew, Lisa and Thomas Fleming.  He was preceded in death by his father.
