Memorial services for Richard "Dick" P. Spaller, age 88 of Painesville will be 7: 00 PM Thursday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Friends and family may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home
Born January 17, 1927 in Painesville
Passed away August 23, 2015 at Wickliffe Country Place.
Dick served in the US Army during WW II. He was employed by Victor R. Browning in Willoughby for 14 years, and Joseph Dyson in Painesville for 16 years. He retired from the Village of Fairport Harbor after 10 years.
He was a member of Fairport Congregational Church, V.F.W. Post 7754 in Fairport Harbor, and the Painesville Horseshoe Club where he was a two time world champion in his class. He also bowled for many years at Rich Lanes in Fairport Harbor.
He is survived by Wife Marjorie (Leathers) Spaller whom he married on July 9, 1949

Preceded in death by his son in law Bert Bentley; brothers Gilbert, Kenneth, Lynn, Jack, Donald, Robert and Maynard Spaller; sisters Helen Scheibelhoffer, Doris Tilson, Evelyn Warren and Lois Luhta; parents John and Jessie (Mallory) Spaller; stepfather Howard Armesy.
