Mass of Christian Burial for Richard M. "Dick" Pollack age 73 of Concord twp. will be Saturday 9:30 am February 6, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North State St. Painesville. Family and friends may call from 4-8 pm Friday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Dick was the son of Michael and Mary (Kozsey) Pollack. He was born on December 31, 1942 in Painesville and passed away January 29, 2016 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township. Dick graduated from Harvey High School in 1960 and attended The Ohio State University. He was the vice president of operations at the former Lake County National bank/Banc One in Painesville retiring in 1998. Dick was a member of the Hungarian Culture Club in Fairport Harbor, and B.P.O.E # 549 in Painesville. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting trap & skeet. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Lake County Chapter, and served on the board of directors. He enjoyed bowling and golf and was especially proud of the hole in one he shot at the Painesville Country Club. Dick was a huge NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. Dick enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, cabinets and doll furniture. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Hemphill) Pollack.... whom he married on June 11, 1966 Daughters, Theresa "Tisa" (Mike) Aikey and Marcia "Marcie" (Loren Wilk) Pollack Grandchildren Michael and Darren Aikey Sister Carol (Mark) Wittels Sister in Law Donna Pollack and several nieces and nephews Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Kenneth Pollack In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our English Setter Rescue PO box 708 , Hilliard, OH 43026 or by visiting their website www.oesr.org
