Funeral services for Richard J. Weyer, age 84, will be 4:00 pm Sunday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday.

A Painesville Twp. resident for many years, Richard was born on August 18, 1930 in Kenmore, NY. He passed away on Jan 18, 2015 at Altercare of Mentor Nursing Center in Concord.

Mr. Weyer served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War He retired as an instructor for Rosemount Industries in Bedford

Richard enjoyed woodworking and bowling

Survived by, Sons, Richard Weyer of Cleveland Daniel (Geraldine) Weyer, Sr. of Wadsworth Gary (Donna) Weyer of Apollo Beach, FL Daughters, Beth Selers of Lyndhurst Anne Formichelli of Mentor Grandchildren, LeeAnn, Daniel Jr., and Darlene Weyer Sondra Weyer, Ashley Selers, and Mario Formichelli, III

Great Grandchildren, Braylen and Nolan

Preceded in death by, Wife, Hazel Ann (Schinaman) Weyer Parents, John and Ruby (Lucas) Weyer

Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio
