Funeral services for Richard E. Young will be 6:00 PM, Tuesday, December 26th, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Family and friends may call 4:00 – 6:00 PM, prior to the service.

Richard was born August 15, 1963 in East Cleveland.

He was a life-long Lake County resident.   He was a tool maker and worked for Cosmo Plastics.  Richard was a talented musician, played the guitar and loved to sing karaoke.  He was a member of the American Legion, the V F W and the Moose Lodge.

Richard is survived by his father, Larry G. Young; sister, Dawn (Thomas) Takacs of Perry; nephews, Bradley and Brandon Edgell of Painesville; niece, Jaime Edgell of Perry and great niece,  Layla Edgell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce (Grady) Young
