Robert "Bob"
Coffman
March 3, 1936 – January 21, 2022
Robert "Bob" Coffman, age 85, passed away January 21, 2022, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born March 3, 1936, in Painesville to Denzel A. and Elizabeth(Kish) Coffman.
Bob retired from Sears after 57 years of service. He was one of only 4 people in country with that many years of service. He was a life-long resident of Fairport. He also lived in Cleveland and Arizona.
Bob was a fixture at his grandson's sporting events, never missing one game or even a practice. He never missed an opportunity to brag about his grandson. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, he was unable to see his great-granddaughter as much as he would have liked. But we know he will be keeping tabs on her as she grows up.
Bob didn't waste energy on words, his actions told his story. Well known for being generous, he was a great tipper, man of his word and had a love of a great clean cars.
Bob is survived by his wife, Connie (Carrigan) Coffman. He was the best father to Debbie Rasmussen and Darlene Coffman (Robert) Bates. Beloved grandfather to Justin (Jessica) Rasmussen and great grandfather to Maren and Huckleberry. Brother, Thomas (Linda) Coffman; Sister-in-law, Barbara (Roger) Roush; and Uncle to many. He is also survived by his best friends Dennis Reho and Mike and Lisa Rowan.
The family would like to acknowledge the care that he was provided by the staff of Advocating Aspirations, Tri-Point Hospital, as well as Hospice House. Family is requesting no flowers.. Please consider a donation in Bob's memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, P. O. Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.
