Robert Wayne
Delbrocco
December 22, 1964 – August 10, 2025
Robert Wayne DelBrocco, 60, of Painesville Township, passed away on August 10, 2025. He was born on December 22, 1964, in Richmond Heights, Ohio, to the late Raymond Rialto DelBrocco and Margaret Jane (Donahue) DelBrocco.
Robert worked for Ohio Paving for over 17 years as a superintendent, where he was known for his dedication and leadership.
As a proud member of the Western Reserve Yacht Club and Lakeside Campgrounds, Rob was happiest when surrounded by family, friends, and his boat. He was a Cleveland Browns fan, a drummer, and a fisherman who loved brewing beer. Rob was proud to have been named MVP for the American Football Association's Cleveland Falcons. He graduated from Brush High School in 1983, where he played football and wrestled.
More than his hobbies and accomplishments, Rob will be remembered for living his life with generosity and unwavering love for his family, whether creating backyard splash parks for his grandchildren or sharing deep-fried turkeys at Thanksgiving.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lynnette (Standifer) DelBrocco; his children, Angela DelBrocco, Anthony DelBrocco (Karlan DelBrocco), Ashley Irwin (Dylan Dombrowski) and Alexis DelBrocco-Jones (Noah Jones); siblings, Raymond J. (Celeste) DelBrocco, Edward (Lisa) DelBrocco, and Autumn L. (Terry J.) Grabowski; and his cherished grandchildren, Kamden DelBrocco, Jackson Dombrowski, Eliza Dombrowski, and Milo DelBrocco. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Delilah Jones.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Private family funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, at the funeral home with procession to follow to All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
