A gathering of family and friends celebrating the life of Robert Marut age 71 will be Thursday from 4-7 pm at the home of Jeff Marut 10820 Ellison Creek drive Concord Township Ohio 44077, please dress casual.

Robert was the son of William and Mary (Grech) Marut born on June 2, 1945 in Painesville and passed away June 20, 2016 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Twp.

Robert owned and operated Marut and Sons Excavating before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Life member of B.P.O.E. 549 in Painesville and was a coach and sponsor for the Painesville Little League, enjoyed motorcycle riding, boating and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Judy (Hathaway) Marut,sons, Scott (Carrie) Marut of Painesville, Jefff (Jennifer) Marut of Concord Twp., Step-Daughter, Traci (Robert) Keller of Concord twp., Step-son, Michael (Michelle) Lors of Baltimore Maryland

Grandchildren, Jake, Jessica, Abbey, Brock, Colton, Vance, Milan, Mara, and Maxwell

Preceded in death by Grandson Miller Marut, brother Bill Marut, sister Susan Higgenbotham and his parents
