Robert "Hickory" Myers, age 77, of Fairport Harbor, passed away August 18, 2016 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.

Robert taught at John R. Williams Middle School where he also coached basketball and football for 15 years, and was self-employed at Myers Concrete.  He loved sports, football, basketball and especially baseball

Being born and raised in Fairport Harbor, Robert had a special love for the lake and fishing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia (Doyle) Myers, to whom he was married for 57 years.

Sons, Robert Myers and Patrick Myers, and Daughter, Beth Oreh.

Eight grandchildren, Jacquelyn Advey, Robby, Nick, Alexis, Samantha, and Mitch Myers, Tony and Gina Long and 1 great grandson, Tommy Advey

Sister, Frances Pope.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Iris Myers.

At Robert's request, there will be no calling hours or services.
