Graveside Memorial services for Robert L. Rankin, age 81, will be 11:00 am Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Section 17 in Mentor Municipal Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed. A Concord Twp. resident and formerly of Hambden Twp., Bob was born on July 31, 1932 in Abilene, Texas. Bob passed away on May 23, 2014 At Maplewood at Heather Hill Care Center in Chardon. Robert Graduated with a degree in Engineering from San Jose State University in California. He served in the US Army Bob enjoyed working with his hands in the garden and building miniature doll houses with furniture. Mr. Rankin retired in 1987 after 27 yrs. as a Quality Control Engineer for Lockheed Missile and Space Corp. He is survived by, Wife, Nan E. (Drake) Rankin, whom he married on April 7, 1987 Son, Robert (Scott) Rankin of Reno, NV Step-Children, Rush L. Harley of Mesa, AZ Terence J. Harley of Ft.
