A Mass of Christian burial for Robert J. Stack, age 76, of Concord, will be held 10 AM Thursday, April 6th at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Twp.  The family will receive friends at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue in Painesville, Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

Robert was born January 1, 1941 in Cleveland to James and Johanna (Lyng) Stack. He attended Cleveland Heights High School. He served in the U S NAVY from December 1958 until March of 1964. He worked at Glenridge Machine in Willoughby and Gould Inc. in Euclid. Robert passed away Friday March 31, 2017 at Tri-Point Hospital in Lake County.

He and his loving wife, Florence (Green) Stack, have lived in Concord since 1991. He is survived by his wife; sons, Robert Stack and Thomas Stack; daughters, Theresa (Richard) Whitehead and Joanne (Derek Oyen) Stack; grandchildren, Eric and Keira Oyen; brothers, Edward and Nicholas Stack of Euclid; sisters, Margaret Niton of S. Euclid, Elizabeth Lauver, Helen Quinn, & Johanna Gannon, all of Euclid and Kathleen Stack Paulocsak of Mentor.

Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, James and John Stack and sister Eileen Stack.

Robert was deeply loved by his family and will always be remembered for his sense of humor.  He loved his family dogs, Angel, Jack, and Grady and will be missed by all. Donations may be made in Robert's name to the Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village, Novelty, Ohio.
