A celebration of life for Robert A. Williams age 67 of Painesville will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Bob was the son of Walter Earl and Winifred Todd (Skonier) Williams was born on July 21, 1948 in Painesville and passed away at his home on January 9, 2016 at his home in Painesville. Bob was a U.S. Marine serving in Vietnam. He was a voracious reader with an emphasis on the socio/economic/political climate of the times. He was fascinating conversationalist, well-versed in any subject. He was a homebody who was the consummate host to guests in his home. Bob and his furry friend, Daisy, enjoyed their walks and beer together. He also enjoyed his visits with his grand-dogs, Otter and Edie. His world was made richer by his friendships with Debbie Giran, Dave Giran, Eileen Corrice and Greg Tomaro.

He is survived by his wife, May Jo (Horvath) Williams
