Obituary

Roger Walsh, 77, of Painesville, passed away November 27, 2017.

He loved Painesville and made so many friends at Flavors on the Square.  Roger was known as the "man in red".  He loved singing at the Blue Grass and eating steak and homemade rolls at the Theatrical in Cleveland.   Roger was a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art.  He was also a member of Bricklayers Local #16 for over 55 years.

Roger is survived by his bride of 46 years, Patricia "Pat"; son, Scott Slusser; grandson, Joshua Slusser; granddaughter, Linsay Warren; great-grandson, Dax Cantwell; and sister, Cindy Loy.  He also leaves his dear friends, Junior and Janet, Debra and Gordie, Rick, Dave, Ed, Tim, Brian and Amy and wonderful neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Gladys (Smith) Walsh; sisters, Jean Barr, Judy Nemeth and Shirley Koston.

The family will receive friends, Friday, December 1st, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Services will be at 7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
