Services for Ronald Lee Nighman, 65 a lifelong resident of Painesville, will be 12:00 pm Friday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville Family and friends may call from 10:00 until 12:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery Painesville He Passed away 5/10/15 at his home.

He was born 12/15/1949 in Ft. Dix New Jersey

He graduated Harvey High school in 1968 and entered the US Marine Corps serving in Vietnam from 1969-1970 in the Combined Action Platoon 131. He would eventually receive his bachelor's degree from Lake Erie College in Business. He retired from the US postal service and spent time volunteering through local VFWs and Toys for Tots.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Murray( Nighman) of Chesapeake Va, Rebecca Rullis ( Nighman) of Las Vegas NV. Brother Elwin Nighman, of Las Vegas. Grandchildren James, Rachel, Lailah, Julia and William. He also was a stepfather to Mark, Chris, Jennifer, Dakota, And Nicole He is preceded in death by his parents, Elwin " Hank" March, and Joan Nighman, His adopted father Larry Nighman and an infant daughter Amanda In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, or your local Toys for Tots.
