Mass of Christian Burial for Rose (Coyer) Gachuk age 89 will be Monday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 9935 Johnnycake Ridge Rd. Concord Township Ohio ,Rev. Christopher Zerucha will officiate. Friends and family will be received from 2 - 6 pm Sunday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Painesville.

Born November 20, 1925 in Jersey City New Jersey

Passed away December 24, 2014 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Twp.

Rose was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, a Heavenly Duster, volunteered at the Center for Pastoral Leadership for the Fest since its inception, member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. The most important part of Rose's life was her family. Rose desired that no one wear black to her calling hours or Mass, colorful clothing is requested.

Survivors are daughters, Kathleen Smith of Perry, Janine (Ken) Schmitt of Florence KY, Denise (Lee) Covell of Madison, Patrice (Danny) Carroll of Perry and son, Walter John (Waleska) Gachuk of Cleveland; grandchildren, Merle (Erin) Walker, Judy (Jeff) Gramm, Michael (Heather) Walker, Nancy (Mark) Platt, Angela (Robert Wheeler) Crissey, Charles (Lauren) Widemire, Nicole (Daniel) Ritchey, Paul Skarupa, Danielle Carroll, and Miguel, Anie and Azael Melendez; great-grandchildren, Megan, Alyssa, Austin, Josh, Jeremy, Kayla, Jaden, Jake, Giovanni, Alexa, Rylee, Jack, Henry and Adyson; great-great-grandson Chase; sister Ann Isabel of Painesville and brother Nicholas (Judy) Coyer of Chinchilla PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gachuk, whom she married on October 14, 1943; son Paul Walter Gachuk and her parents.
