Rosemarie Maruschak, age 70, passed away December 22, 2020 at her residence in Painesville.  She was born November 22, 1950 in Painesville to Julius Steve and Elizabeth Ann (Kolenic) Szabo.

Rosemarie worked for the Perry School System food service for over twenty years.

Mom was a loving, caring, supportive and encouraging wife, mother and grandmother. She led a life of selflessness and exhibited strength and courage along the way. Mom loved her family and friends very much. She especially enjoyed being active outdoors, loved reading books and was a prayerful, positive person.

Rosemarie is survived by her sons, Joseph (June) Maruschak and Ryan (Tracy) Maruschak; daughter, Amy (Kurt) Wallace; brothers, Julius (Diana) Szabo, Donald (Stephanie) Szabo, Dennis (Lorraine) Szabo, Robert (Mary) Szabo; sister, Elizabeth (Marshall) Hill; sister-in-law, Mary Szabo; grandchildren, Ethan Wallace, Martin Joseph Maruschak and McKenzie Maruschak.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ralph Maruschak; brother, David Szabo; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio.  There will be no calling hours.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
