Rosemarie Stanek, age 82, passed away December 30, 2022, at Cardinal Woods in Madison. She was born January 31, 1940 in Cleveland, OH to Richard and Rose (Lausin) Goerndt.

She enjoyed knitting, reading, baking and the color purple.

Rosemarie is survived by her children, Christopher (Jamie) Stanek, Nick (Natalie) Stanek, Frank Stanek, Geri (Jose) Clayton, Teresa (Chip) Baxter, Francine (Don) Rolli, Jacqui (Brian) Avery, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence J. Stanek; grandson, Andrew Donley.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Please meet at church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2023 at St Patrick Catholic Church 16550 Rock Creek Road., Thompson, OH. Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
