Funeral services for Shirley M. Corey, age 80, will be 11:00 am Monday at Hope Ridge United Methodist Church 9870 Johnnycake Ridge Concord. Friends will be received from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville. A Concord Twp. resident, Shirley was born on April 12, 1934 in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. She passed away on November 3, 2014 at Homestead II Nursing Home in Painesville.

Shirley graduated from Thomas W. Harvey High School, class of 1951

Shirley owned and operated the former Riverview Restaurant in Fairport Harbor for over 10 yrs. She volunteered for the Hope Chest and for the Purple Heart Society, Shirley and her husband were Charter members of Hope Ridge United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

2 grandchildren, Alex Corey and Brianna Mascia 1 great grandchild, Braydon Corey

Sisters, Lois (Gene) Gaster of Madison and Irma Jean Brant of Madison Brother, Kenneth (Wanda) Brant of Virginia

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Preceded in death by, Husband, Lloyd J. Corey in 1994 Parents, Webster and Erma (Zimmerman) Brant Sisters, Betty Dickinson and Doris Brant Infant brother, Karl Brant

Interment will be in Concord Cemetery in Concord Twp.
