Mass of Christian Burial for Shirley Jean Arcaro, age 79, will be 9:30 AM, Wednesday, December 21st at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville. Friends will be received from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville.
Mrs. Arcaro passed away December 17, 2016 at Madison Medical Campus. The daughter of John and Angelina (Cherenka) Morgan was born on March 17, 1937 in Wendel, WV.
Shirley had lived in Perry Twp. since 1963. She worked as an Operator for the former Ohio Bell Telephone Co.
Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling, gardening, and canning. She loved listening to Elvis, watching Cleveland sports, and loved her cats. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Gary Arcaro, Michael (Tammy) Arcaro, Jr. and Michele (Vern) Workman all of Perry; grandchildren, Tiffany Arcaro, Tricia (Brian) Brooks, Traci (Devon) Russell, Michael (Ally) Arcaro III, Maria Arcaro, Heather (Tyler) Wilkinson, and Myka Gray; great grandchildren, Easton Michael Wilkinson, Emma Wilkinson, Gavin Brooks, Adalyn Brooks and Alyvia Russell; one brother, Arthur (Dottie) Morgan. and sisters, Nancy, Julie, Helen, and niece, Shirley Ann.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 yrs., Michael Arcaro, Sr. in 2013; Parents, 7 sisters, and 1 brother.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
