Terry L. Nelson, age 56, of Fairport Harbor, OH. passed away August 29th, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH with his family at his side.  He was born January 17, 1966, in Painesville, OH, to Adelbert and Elizabeth (Leasure) Nelson.

He was a graduate of Perry High School "Class of 1984" and he served in the U S Marine Corps. Terry worked as an electric estimator for Dial Electric in Solon, OH, He was an avid sportsman. Terry enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, and bocce ball. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Terry is survived by his wife, of 26 years, Tracy (Sulzbach) Nelson; children, Terry Jr., Sam (Crystal), Jeremy (Danielle), Kimberly (Joe) Hutchinson, Taylor (Christian); grandchildren, Jayce, Adalynn, Gracie, Sophia, Caidence, Jada, Carter; step-grandchildren Noel, Jaylen, Tanyalynn; siblings, Tom (Sheila), Mary McKinley, David (Sherry), Carol Blake, Bill (Denise) and Larry. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, Jon, Rick.
