Theresa Whitehead, age 57, passed away August 17, 2022, at University Hospital Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. She was born October 18, 1964, in Cleveland to Robert J. and Florence A. (Greene) Stack.

Theresa was a registered nurse for more than 37 years, working for the last 22 years as a Case Manager and Clinical Supervisor for Ohio Living. Early in her career, she worked in the Cardio-Thoracic unit at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and then Director of Nursing at Chardon Health Care. Theresa was a vibrant, passionate healthcare professional who always put the care of others first and foremost. She was a member and past President of the Willoughby Junior Women's Club, a Disaster Health Services RN for the American Red Cross, and volunteer for the Mayfield MIPOD team. She loved gardening and overflowed her home with welcoming flowers every year. She enjoyed traveling but preferred spending time with family and friends. She loved animals, especially her Dachshund Grady.

She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Whitehead Jr. of Willoughby; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Oleg) Yusenko; mother, Florence Stack; mother-in-law, Helen Whitehead; father-in-law, Richard Whitehead; sister, Joanne (Derek) Oyen; brothers, Robert Stack and Thomas Stack; sister-in-law, Cathy (Steve) Iannetta; brother-in-law, John Lawson; grandchildren, Julie, Alina, Alisa, Natalie, Jenna, Julian, and Nina; great-grandchild, Maddie; nieces, Keira Oyen, Lauren Iannetta, and Kealohi Oyamot, Kilinahe Oyamot, and Hiwa Oyamot; nephews, Eric Oyen, Nicholas Iannetta, and Noa Oyamot; and many cousins who loved her dearly.

Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stack in 2017.

Friends will be received 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM. Saturday, August 27th, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
