Valentin Sanchez-Carrillo, age 49, passed away March 5, 2025, at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township.  He was born February 14, 1976, in Michoacan, Mexico to Mariano Sanchez and Guadalupe Carrillo

Valentin worked for Mr. EIFS Construction LLC in Mentor for many years.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, buying and fixing up old trucks including his favorite, which was an orange 79 Ford truck. He collected Budweiser memorabilia, and you could always find him enjoying a beer, a Cranberry Mike's hard lemonade, Buchanan's, or a shot of tequila. His smile would light up the room and he was always the life of the party.

Valentin is survived by his parents, wife, Rachel Sanchez; sons, Valentin Sanchez-Ponce, Ryker Sanchez; daughters, Karina Sanchez-Ponce and Itzihuari Sanchez-Ponce;  stepdaughter, Azrael Manross; grandchildren, Cristian Ángel, Gael, Diego, Mateo, Santiago, Emiliano, Pedro and Daniel; brothers, Ricardo Sanchez-Carrillo and Marcial Sanchez-Carrillo; sister, Mariana Sanchez-Carrillo. nieces, Andrea René, Justice, Isis, Oasis; nephews, Isiah, Emmett, and Dante.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Andres Sanchez-Carrillo.

Friends will be received 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with services at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 242 North State Street, Painesville, Ohio 44077.  Burial will take place in Mexico at a later date.
