Valva J. Sabo, age 86, passed away February 7, 2023, at The Sanctuary of Geneva.  She was born August 7, 1936, in Worden, Wisconsin to Edward and Evangeline (Sorenson) Karlen.

Valva worked for Midwest Materials in Perry for many years.  She was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, and rug making.

Valva is survived by her daughters Sandy (Dan) Yankie, Lynn (Gudmundur) Karlsson; sons, David (Cindy) Pomietlo and Raymond (Rosella) Pomietlo; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Valva was preceded in death by her husband, Jospeh Sabo in 1993; her parents; brothers, Clyde Karlen, Wilton Karlen; sisters, Eugenia Voytovich, Betty Nelson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023, at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio.  Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
