Graveside services for Victoria J. Ricketts, age 85, will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, Ohio. A 29 year resident of Salisbury, North Carolina and formerly of Perry, Ohio, Victoria was born on September 4, 1929 in Painesville. She passed away on September 2, 2015 at the Glenn A. Kaiser Hospice House in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Victoria was a sales person for JC Penney in Mentor, Ohio and later transferred to JC Penney in Charlotte, NC. After retirement she worked as a cashier for Winn-Dixie Supermarket in Salisbury, NC.

Mrs. Ricketts enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family. She loved making frequent trips with her family back to Ohio for holidays and special occasions.

Victoria was a loving, caring wife and mother who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always there to help someone in need.

She is survived by, Daughter, Dianne (Jack) Neubacher of Salisbury Son, Victor (Maryann) Ricketts of Painesville Grandchildren, Marcus Neubacher Jennifer Neubacher Rogers Tonya Ricketts Victor Paul (Janine) Ricketts Great Grandchildren, Aden Ricketts Makenna Ricketts Benjamin Rogers

Preceded in death by, Husband, Chester Ricketts Daughter, Charlene Jean Ricketts in 1957 Parents, Victor John and Jennie Lucina (Hartson) Smith 6 siblings are also deceased
