Funeral Services for Viola ( Galofaro ) Torre, age 92,  a resident of Concord Township for 70 years, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday June 13th at St James Episcopal Church, 131 North State Street, Painesville, with the burial service following at Concord Cemetery.  Family and friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, June 12th at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville.

Viola was born to John Galofaro and Josephine (nee Sofia), September 14, 1924 in Detroit, MI.

She was a loving wife, mother, devoted grandmother and homemaker who loved to cook and sew. She was employed by Lake County Memorial Hospital as an admitting clerk for 15 years until she retired in 1985.  For many years she was an active member of the Daughters of the King and Altar Guild at St. James Episcopal Church.

Viola is survived by her husband, Joseph, her children Jim (Debbie) and Carol Torre, grandchildren Jim (Stacey) Torre, Marcee Torre, Brandee (Sean) Masterson, Lannee Torre and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Galofaro, step-father Nickola Orlando, brother Sam Galofaro, sister Edith Galofaro, sister Mary Torre, sister Jeanne Dean and sister Mickey Bertolami.
