Services for Walter R. Stockdale, age 67, of Painesville, will be 5 p.m. Monday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave. Friends and family will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Born February 23, 1947 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania

Passed away Dec. 26, 2014, at the Lois Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center

Walter served in the Army in the Language branch of Army Intelligence. He was very musically inclined and had a great love of music and sports. Walt was a kind-hearted person and was loved by all who knew him.
