Mass of Christian Burial for Walter Wayner, age 89, of Painesville will be Monday at 1:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church 242 North state St. Painesville, family and friends may call from 2-5 on Sunday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Painesville.

Born May 25, 1925 in Fairport Harbor, OH

Passed away March 27, 2015 at Governors Point in Mentor.

Walter served in the Army Air Corps during WW II in the Pacific Theatre. He was employed by the former Diamond Shamrock and served as custodian for St. Gabriel Parish. He was a 1943 Graduate of Fairport Harding High school. Walter was actively involved with Painesville Little League Baseball during the 60's. He also enjoyed camping and traveling, but most important to him was spending time with his family.
