William Dale Hess, age 66, of Spring Valley, OH. Passed away May 21, 2026, at his home. He was born July 21, 1959, in Painesville, OH to Gerald and Neva (Whitehair) Hess.

“Billy” was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed traveling with his girlfriend, Donna. He had a love for animals and they loved him right back.

He was proud of his work as a steel fabricator for Ohio Molding, where he retired after many years of dedicated service. He was known as tone of he hardest working and most loyal employee they had ever had.

Bill is survived by his brother, Jerry Hess; niece, Cynthia McLeod; nephews, Judge Michael (Stephanie) Hess, Daniel (Susan) Hess, and Ron Hess; niece Riki (William) Karolyi; as well as many great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers David and Jimmy; and his longtime girlfriend Donna.

Heaven gained a kind and generous soul on May 21st. He was loved and will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to say good-bye Friday June 5, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. for a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
