Funeral services William T. "Bill" Mehalic, age 86, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday.

A Painesville resident, Mr. Mehalic was born on July 3, 1930 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He passed away on July 30, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp.

Bill served in the US Navy aboard the USS Mississippi. He retired in 1982 after 32 yrs. as a machine operator for the Eaton Axle Co. in Cleveland.

William was a member of St. Mary Church,

He enjoyed casino trips, barbeques, and gardening

Bill is survived by,

Siblings, Eleanor Brooks of Levittown, PA; Esther Powell of Kutztown, PA; and Robert (Eleanor) Mehalic of Morgantown, WV

Preceded in death by his Wife, Dolores (Stanko) Mehalic, whom he married on Oct 11, 1952
