Obituary

William Pavlik, age 86, passed away April 8, 2026, at his residence in Mentor, Ohio.  He was born March 26, 1940, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to Paul Pavlik and Mary (Renock) Pavlik.

William was a Valley High New Kensington graduate and the University of Pittsburgh where received a Bachelors of Science Degree.  Then he proudly served in the United States Army.  He retired from Gulf Oil Research and Development in Houston, Texas and Tridelta in Mentor.

William liked working on projects in the house and yard, and he loved to travel.  He also enjoyed fishing and watching football.

William is survived by his wife, Barbara (Jerin) Pavlik; son, Donald Pavlik, daughter, Gina Pavlik of Huston, Texas; sister, Vivian Turner of Lower Burrell, PA.; many nieces and nephews; two brothers-in law and a sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Pavlik and his parents.

Friends will be received 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, Ohio.
