Funeral services for Willis W. "Willie" Mc Cauley, age 83, will be 10:00 am Thursday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville, where friends will be received from 7-9 pm Wednesday. Mr. Mc Cauley passed away on August 29, 2014 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord.

A Perry Resident he was born on December 14, 1930 in Flemington, West Virginia

Willis served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart for wounds received in battle. He retired from Chardon Rubber Co. where he was a Press Operator, he also worked for the Sines Firestone Store in Perry, and the Chapman Burial Vault Co, in Perry

Willie loved to be around people and had many friends in the Perry Community. He also enjoyed his "Casino Buddies" and gambling trips. He was a former Painesville Recreation Manager for softball fields Member of, Perry Amvets, Post 1971 and Madison American Legion, Post 601

Survived by, Son, Steve Mc Cauley of Georgia Daughter, Diana (Greg) Reed of Georgia Grandchildren, Michelle (Dean) Maddox Michael Reed Great Grandchildren, Connor Reed and Kaylan Maddox both of GA Friend and Companion, Judy Kailburn Sisters, Madeline Maxwell of W VA Patricia Soeder of Mentor Several Sisers-in-Law, Brothers-in-Law, Nieces, and Nephews also survive. Preceded in death by, Wife, Thelma (Seese) Mc Cauley in 1995 Parents, Willis and Dorothy (Jones) Mc Cauley Brother, Robert Mc Cauley and Sister, Mary Elizabeth McCauley Interment will be in Perry Cemetery In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Willie's memory may be made to the Perry Township Fire Dept. 3742 Center Rd.
