Yolanda V. Bain age 95 of Concord Township was the daughter of Steve and Clara (Rakozi) Vegso born on April 7, 1927 in Fairport Harbor, Ohio and passed away peacefully at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland on January 6, 2023 with family at her side.

Yolanda was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville. She was employed by the former IRC Fibers (Rayon) for 34 years.

Yolanda was an avid reader and a cross word puzzle enthusiast.  She also loved to bake and was especially known for her coveted balish and creative holiday cookie designs assisted by her grandchildren.  Most importantly was her deep love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was a woman of grace, kindness, and generosity.

Yolanda is survived by her sons, Thomas A. (Marlyn) Bain, James W. (Nancy) Bain, and daughter,     Bonnie L. (Randy) Jost.  Grandchildren are Doug (Kelly) Jost, Kathy (Brian) Fox, Jimmy Bain, Stephanie (Mike) Swank, Candice (Mike) Bukky, Christopher (Stacey) Bain, Joshua (Hannah) Bain, Rick Marinelli, Melanie Marinelli, and Ryan Marinelli.  Great-grandchildren are Michael Jr., Ava, Carter, Lilli, Jameson, Easton, Thomas, Izzy, William, Charlotte, Gianna, Nina, Dominic, Maya, Samantha, Zackary, and Adam.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Bain in 2007, brother Steve Vegso and sister Margaret Pheasey.

Family and friends may call from 4-7 PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave. Painesville.  Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church 508 Mentor Ave. Painesville on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville immediately following the service.
