Graveside Services for Alfred R. Grechar, age 87, were held at North East Leroy Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church at later date.
Mr. Grechar was born October 26, 1932 in Forest City, Pennsylvania to Felix and Rose (Novak) Grechar and passed away April 27, 2020 at Briar Hill Heath Care in Middlefield.
Alfred served in the United States Army and was the owner/operator of Micro Machine and Tool in Euclid. He also worked for Addressograph-Multigraph Corp.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and he enjoyed bowling, gardening, polka dancing, and giving people rides on his Allis-Chalmers tractor. Alfred was a faithful Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and he also enjoyed visiting the local wineries.
Alfred is survived by his daughters, Allison (David) Racek of Chesterland, Jacqueline (Timothy) Ross of Leroy Township and Gale (Anthony) Lewis of Grand Rapid, Michigan; son, Richard (Tammie) Grechar of Mentor; grandchildren, Richard, Cora, Elizabeth, Danielle (Donald), Taylor (Austen), Bethany (Stephen) and Andrew; great grandchildren, Teagan and Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Welker) Grechar in 2018; brother, Robert Grechar, sisters, Rose Marie Bruton and Nancy Skowronski; and his parents.
