Allan Cay Doerner Jr, age 75, passed away May 26, 2024, at Legacy of Mentor in Mentor Ohio, after a long battle with Parkinson's and dementia. He was born January 19, 1949, in Painesville Ohio to Allan (Beverly) C. Doerner Sr.

Allan attended Glenwood High School in Canton Ohio but graduated from Harvey High School in 1967. He was a Parts Manager at Roulette Pontiac for many years and service technician for Rodger's Sunoco. Allan also acquired his real estate license and EMT license.

Allan enjoyed NASCAR, fishing at his family's pond, camping, music, classic cars and spending time with family and friends. He was also a season ticket holder for the Cleveland Browns for many seasons. Allan also was a disc jockey with his close friend Bucky Call, running their own disc jockey service called DC Sounds.

Allan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Louanne (Sabatine) Doerner; daughter, Ashleigh Hennig (David Hennig Jr); sons, Ryan, and Allan Doerner the III; granddaughters, Kennedi Boris and Baby Girl Hennig; sister, Jacqueline S. Doerner; aunt, Mary Ann Jackopin; father, Allan C. Doerner Sr.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly J. Doerner; and brother, Douglas Doerner.

Family and friends will be received 10:00 - 12:00 PM, Saturday June 1st, 2024, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave, Painesville Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM, directly following the visitation at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Concord Cemetery following the services.
