Allan D. Romig

Allan D. Romig, age 74, passed away January 25, 2021 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.  He was born August 5, 1946 in Chardon to Otto and Sophie (Putka) Romig.

Allan was a 1964 graduate of Harvey High School.  He was a boiler operator and worked for the City of Painesville for many years.

He enjoyed car shows, tractor shows and loved to feed the birds. Allen is now in heaven with his two loving dogs,  Buddy and Missy.

Allan is survived by his wife of 56 years Janet L. Romig ,son, Keith Romig of Madison; daughters, Patty Ann (Geno) Pucci of Arizona and Karen Blackwell of Painesville; brothers Ray (Helen) Romig of Concord Township and Andrew Romig of Rock Creek; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service for Allan will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, February 1, 2021 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Friends will be received from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home before the service.
