Alyce J. DiPofi, age 66, passed away December 23, 2021, at University Hospitals in Cleveland. She was born September 12, 1955, in Willoughby to Peter James and Alice Jean (Farren) Lukas.
Alyce was a 1973 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She worked for General Electric at Nela Park for over 13 years where she made many enduring friendships.
Those that knew her would describe Alyce as a genuine and endearing person. She was full of love, kindness, and infinite generosity. She cared deeply for her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Kip.
Alyce was a loyal and passionate person and those traits shined especially brightly through her love and fandom for the Cleveland Indians. She enjoyed watching all their games, trips to the ballpark, and spreading hope and positivity about the team.
Alyce was bright and joyful. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and took after her father’s love of dancing.
More than anything else, Alyce loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She was there for all who needed her, and she bursted with pride for her loved ones.
Alyce is survived by her husband, Tim DiPofi of Perry; son, Jeffrey (Emily) DiPofi; daughter, Allyson (Brennan) Tilow; and brother, James Peter (Kari) Lukas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Calling Hours for Alyce will be held 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.
