Andrew W. Davis II, a man of unwavering character and a proud veteran, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township. He was 64 years old.
Born on October 10, 1961, in Painesville, Andrew was the son of the late Andrew and Betty (Morgan) Davis. From a young age, he carried a sense of duty that eventually led him to the United States Marine Corps. His time as a Marine was a source of lifelong pride, and he carried the "Semper Fi" spirit into everything he did.
For many years, Andrew worked as a skilled machinist in the tool and die industry. He was a man who understood the value of a hard day’s work and took pride in the precision of his craft. When he wasn't working, Andrew’s world revolved around three things: his beloved Dallas Cowboys, his enduring bond with his fellow Marines, and, most importantly, his family and friends. Whether he was cheering on Sunday afternoon or sharing a laugh with those he loved, Andrew’s presence was a steady and comforting force.
His legacy lives on through his sons, Todd (Errika) Davis and Mathew Davis, and his grandchildren — Aubrey, Lucas, and Mathew Jr.— who were his greatest joy. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryl (Greg) Lester. Andrew now joins his parents in eternal rest.
Funeral services are currently pending. In his memory, may we all remember to cheer a little louder for his Cowboys and cherish the time we have with those we love.
