Services are pending for Andrew James “Jamie” Totin, age 58, who passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2020 at his residence in Painesville Township. He was born October 12, 1961 in Painesville to Andy J. and Barbara (Carruthers) Totin.
Jamie received his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. Jamie spent most of his career in banking. He started with Bank One, Painesville in their Management Training program and rose through the ranks to be a commercial lender. Subsequently, he worked as a lender at National City Bank as well as Cortland Bank. Most recently, he was as senior energy consultant with Navigate Power.
Jamie was very active in the community, serving on the Board at Lakeland Community College as well the Lake County Free Clinic.
Jamie was an avid skier and he loved golf. He was a member at Little Mountain CC for a number of years. He enjoyed Tae Kwon Do karate and earned his Black Belt from the Painesville Perry Black Belt academy while he was in his 20s.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Totin; brother, Alan Totin of Powell (Karen), Ohio; aunt, Ruth Loper; niece, Emilie Totin; nephew, Matthew Totin; cousins, Don Loper, Laura (John) Motis, and Diane (Joe) Hignight. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Harley.
Jamie was preceded in death by his father, Andy J. Totin.
