Ann Schiele, age 73, passed away October 30, 2025, at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township. She was born July 19, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA. to Donald L Moffett and Anna L (Decker) Moffett.
Ann graduated from Mentor High School in 1970. She dedicated over three decades to the accounting department at Lincoln Electric in Euclid, OH. She then went on to serve the community by working part-time with the Lake County Council on Aging. Ann was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and an active participant in the Painesville Elks Lodge #549.
She cherished traveling with her husband, family and friends. Over the years, she embarked on more than 25 cruises, exploring a variety of breathtaking destinations. In recent years, she particularly enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and frequent visits to local casinos.
She also enjoyed visiting area wineries, with Stonegait Winery in Madison being a favorite. Ann was a supporter of the Cleveland Guardians and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She found great joy in watching and cheering for her teams.
Above all, Ann cherished her family and the many friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her home served as a gathering place for numerous celebrations and summer pool parties. She also had a special fondness for her beloved dogs, Casey and Charger, who brought her much happiness and companionship.
Ann is survived by her husband, Dennis Schiele; sisters, Lynda (Bruce) Slotnick, Karen Moffett and Deborah Lesiacsek; brothers, Donald (Janice) Moffett and Robert (Karen) Moffett; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 7th, at the funeral home. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
