Annette T. Shuss Obituary

Annette T. Shuss (Horvath-Pealer) 83, passed away at her home in Perry Township, February 7, 2020. She was born August 11, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to David Robert and Theresa (Prokaszka) Horvath.

Mrs. Shuss was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, fishing, puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her Grandchildren. Her life was centered around her family and spending as much time as she could at her beloved home on Lake Temagami in Ontario, Canada.

Early in her life Annette attempted veterinary school at Ohio State, then worked in the accounting office at Higbee’s downtown until she married and started a family. As a parent Mom was active in Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts & 4-H. She worked the family snowmobile shop for years and enjoyed riding her ’74 Super Glide. As a Grandmother she was once again active in Boy Scouts and had the first Girl Scout Daisy Troop in Perry.

Annette is survived by her children, Teri Pealer, Brian (Jennifer) Pealer, Sarah Shuss (Ross Taylor) and Stacy (Robert) Stringert; Grandchildren Gregory Scott (Jessica) Pealer, Brittany Rose Pealer, Audrey Rose (Ruby) Pealer, Olivia Lee (Lilly) Pealer, Alec Taylor, Ewan Taylor, CJ Carney, Sarah Carney, and Great Granddaughter; Anna-Marie Elizabeth Pealer and beloved first husband Robert D. Pealer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Shuss in 2006; Son, D. Scott Pealer in 1999; Granddaughter Tiffanie Carney, Brother Robert, Sisters; Niki & Jackie and her parents David and Theresa.

As per Annette’s wishes, there will be no services. The family will have a private gathering. If you wish to make a donation in Annette’s name, please do so at a charity of your choice.

Hug your loved one’s people and tell them you love them. Life is but a fleeting moment in time.
