Arletta Marie (Canfield) Martin

Arletta Marie Martin, age 79, passed away January 27, 2025, at home. She was born March 24, 1945, in Wheeling, West Virginia to Bud and Marguerite (Welch) Canfield.

Arletta lived in the Painesville area for over 60 years, and she worked at T. T. Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 2014.  She enjoyed get-togethers with her family, Bingo, traveling, assorted crafts and all John Wayne movies.

Arletta is survived by her daughters, Robin Baharav of Painesville Township and Judy (Jeff) Velna of Concord Township; brothers, Roger (Karen) Kellhofer and Terry (Denise) Kellhofer; sisters, Judy Airwyke, Janet (Fred) Boland and Cindy (Bob) Roach; sister-in-law, Vickey Kellhofer; grandchildren, Tessa (Jared) Kingus, Michael (Chrissy) Watson, Ashley (Michael) Karla, Gabriel (Jen) Martin, Angelique Velna, Michael (Patty Alonzo) Velna and Erik Velna; great grandchildren, Sabrina Shoff, Joey Shoff, Tyrelle Early, Jaydyn Earlt, Andrew Velna, Jameson Velna, Benjamin Watson, Lucian Kingus, Tayvion Velna and Beau Velna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Martin; son, Paul Michael Martin; brother, Michael Kellhofer and her parents.

Friends will be received, 11:00 AM, Monday, February 3, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio, for visitation.  Funeral services will be at Noon after visitation by Pastor Stoney Drain of Painesville Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
