Betty L. (Satterfield) Adams

Betty L. Adams, age 83, passed away June 28, 2024, in Concord Township.  She was born October 16, 1940, in Painesville to Oscar and Bertie (Leasure) Satterfield.

Betty was a member of First Church Congregational.  She worked as a hairdresser and then had a second career as a dental assistant.

Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening cooking and taking care of her family.  She was a friend to all her met her and will be dearly missed by all.

Betty is survived by her son, Michael Adams; grandchildren, Nicholas (Solange) Adams, Jacob (Ciel) Adams.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Adams in 2016, son, Richard Adams in 2018, and her parents.

Private graveside services were held.

“When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,

that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand;

The angel said my place was ready, in Heaven far above,

and that I’d have to leave behind all those I dearly love.   

But when I walked through Heaven’s gates, I felt so much at home,

for God looked down, smiled at me, and told me “Welcome Home”.

So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart,

for every time you think of me, I’m right there in your heart.”
