Betty L Truman

Betty L. Truman, age 88, passed away January 24, 2024, in Huntsburg Township, Ohio.  She was born November 11, 1935, in Rhodell, West Virginia to Farney and Alta (Thomas) Gillin.

Betty was a homemaker most of her adult life.  She loved spending time with her family.  Her favorite past-times included shopping, snacking on Malley’s chocolates, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.  She also enjoyed vacationing in Tennessee.

Betty is survived by her husband, John Truman; daughter, Alta (William) Wendell; granddaughter, Kathryn (Jared) Daley; and great grandchild, Logan Daley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Farney Gillin Jr., and sister, Shirley (Gillin) Byrd.

There will be no services at this time.  A celebration of Betty’s life will be held in the future.
