Burton Howard Jones

Burton Howard Jones, age 77, passed away January 26, 2024, at his residence in Painesville Township.  He was born January 13, 1947, in Cleveland to Victor C. and Sophia Jones.

Burton was an Ohio Board Certified and Licensed medical massotherapist and owned and operated his own successful business (Burt’s Remedies) for over 40 years. 

Burt belonged to the Painesville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  He enjoyed talking to others about the Bible and his God Jehovah.  Burt was a talented artist and enjoyed sharing his art with family and friends.  He also enjoyed tending to his flower and vegetable garden.

Burton is survived by his wife of 56 years, Paula Jones; daughters, Pennie Dunbar, Betsy Williams, Katie Senuta; his grandchildren, Anna Zehe, Adam Williams, Aaron Williams, Ethan Dunbar, Aislynn Duff, Brogan Duff, Taylor Jones and Emma King.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian (Freddie) Jones, his brother, Victor Jones Jr. and his parents.

Friends will be received 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will be 3 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 340 River Street, Grand River, Ohio 44045.
