Carole A. (Beck) Ross

Carole A. Ross, age 80, passed away June 14, 2025, at her residence in Grand River.   She was born June 7, 1945, in Painesville to George Beck and Irene (Zuber) Beck.

Carole worked as a newspaper carrier for the Painesville Telegraph and the News Herald from 1978 through 2006. 

She enjoyed gardening and loved all the beautiful flowers.  She also enjoyed spending time and laughing with her family and friends (especially the Four Angels), spoiling her dogs, and chatting with her sisters. In her younger days she loved fast cars, and loved to tell everyone about her 1966 GTO.

Carole is survived by her daughter, Jenifer (Mark) Burdecki; son, Ron Latva (Greg Breiner); sister, Lucille Butler; grandchildren, Zachary Burdecki, Lance Ross, Lainey Ross and June Ross; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Ross in 2000; son, Donald J. Ross in 2017; brothers, George Beck, Jr., David Beck and Eddie Beck; sister, Lois Seibold; and her parents.

Friends will be received 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12:00 Noon.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
