Charles "Chuck" Fisher Obituary

Charles B. “Chuck” Fisher, age 77, passed away Oct 6, 2021 with his children by his side.

He was born April 20, 1944, in Painesville to Harold and Betty (Metcalf) Fisher.

Chuck worked in construction before starting his career with Fasson.  He retired from Avery Dennison (Fasson) after 30 years.  After his career with Fasson, he consulted for other companies which allowed him the opportunity to travel to other countries such as China.

When Chuck was young, he enjoyed racing his ’63 Chevy at Thompson Speedway, winning many trophies.  For many years, he was a fisherman and a hunter and always looked forward to deer season.   When his kids were younger, he loved taking them on his boat to water ski and swim.  Later passing on his love of fishing to one of his grandsons.   Chuck hosted the annual Christmas Eve Bingo game at his house every year for his kids, grandkids and later, great-grandkids. The favorite gift being the original pocket fisherman which had been in the Bingo game for many years and was always recycled the next year.  In recent years, he purchased 2 classic cars; a 1981 Corvette and a 1987 Buick T-Type.  He showcased his cars at all the local car shows, winning many awards and trophies.  Next summer, his kids will represent him at the local Cruise-Ins; hopefully winning a few more trophies for him.

Chuck is survived by his sister, Sharon Meygesi; son, Todd Fisher; daughters, Marcia (David) Warner, Kim (Tom) Bronson and Michelle (Chuck) Moran; Grandchildren, Christina McElroy, Samantha Lazrine, Amanda Leavens, Kyle Palmer, Kelsie Fisher, Jeremy Palmer, Camryn Fisher.  Great-Grandchildren, Chloe Palmer, Bryce Leavens, Jesse Lowe, Savanna McElroy, Mackenzie Lazrine, Mackayla Lazrine, and Jackson Lazrine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Fisher, Harold Fisher; brothers, Michael Fisher, William Fisher; sisters, Linda Stevens, Janet Evans, and his grandson, Brandon Fisher.
